regular blog readers may notice that this is shorter than the last track listing we posted; we dropped two tracks as we felt the album flowed a lot better without them. we'll put them out in another medium at some point, possibly as free tracks of the week.

we've finished the mix of our third album shamania. we'll set a release date once we've finalised the artwork, which won't take long.

at last! says the world, and we concur. many of these tracks are nigh two years old.

the more astute amongst you, and regular logos blog readers, will note that a number of tracks from these sessions don't appear in this final listing. we know. it changed a great deal, tracks added, tracks taken away, but this listing is the one that works best. we'll put out the remainder, free tracks of the week or elsewhere; one way or another you'll eventually get to hear them all.

[edit, 25 october 2012] we spoke too soon here; shamania was remixed quite a bit after we made this post...

sidereal

another new track, which slipped out of its own accord in amongst our reworking of tracks for our debut album. sidereal is another 'drone'-style piece, in a similar vein to anodyne. first draft 18th august 2010, revision 4th september 2010.

every sound used in this track is taken from other logos tracks. maybe when we finally release the album sidereal appears on we'll run a competition; first person to guess the source of those sounds wins something special. what exactly? we're not sure yet. something good, though...

edit, 25th october 2012: the version of this track on shamania was re-worked quite substantially; this original mix was just over 20 minutes long, with subtle and numerous differences throughout.
